AMERICA'S BIRTHDATE: THE EVENTS OF JULY 4th, 1776 IN AMERICAN HISTORY
By William Eugene McBride
Today is July 5, 2021:
Greetings Friends. If you are from the great United States of America, I hope July 4th was a great day for you and your family and friends.
Since July 4, 1776, people here in our great country have been looking at this day, with most of them celebrating it. This was not the day America Achieved Freedom from the suppression of British Rule. It is however the day that about 56 influential men from our 13 original colonies signed our rebellious comeback to the King of England that we had had enough of their treatment and we would not take it anymore.
The United Colonies became the United States of America that wonderful day of July 4, 1776, as those 56 successful faith-filled men agreed to "sacrifice their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor" as they signed "The Declaration of Independence". Shortly thereafter the terrible Revolutionary War began.
